Transplanting the Hindustani Classical Music Tradition

Mrs. Paranjape led a bhajan group, teaching both women and men her classical raga settings for devotional poems. The group sang at temple services on Sunday mornings and participated in religious festivals as well as concerts of devotional music, including the 1984 Festival of Lights concert held in Convocation Hall to celebrate Hindu and Ismaili devotional music.
