Transplanting the Hindustani Classical Music Tradition

Mrs. Paranjape performed for the classical concert series of the Edmonton Raga-Mala Society. A special highlight for her was the presentation of a sparkling Raga Yaman, accompanied by Regula Qureshi on sarangi, Vinod Bhardwaj on bansuri (flute), and Masood Ahmad on tabla, to introduce the great sitarist and singer Shujaat Khan at a gala concert co-sponsored by the University of Alberta.
