Local Culture and Diversity on the Prairies

The main method of collecting the over 2000 interviews included in the Local Culture and Diversity on the Prairies Project was to make audio and video recordings featuring informants who remembered local culture on the prairies. Three main approaches were developed for fieldwork interviews. The first approach involved asking a standard list of questions. The answers to these questions provide a foundation of information that can be used in several different ways.
