Local Culture and Diversity on the Prairies

The collectors or fieldworkers on each research team came from a variety of ethnic and academic backgrounds. Undergraduate students, graduate students, and other interested community members who collected the oral histories for the project were required to have knowledge of at least one of the four cultural communities and training in prairie history or ethnography.
