Introduction to the Northern Alberta Fiddle Project

These narratives grew out of the Northern Alberta Fiddle Project (NAFP), an archival collection created by Rod Olstad at the Canadian Centre for Ethnomusicology, University of Alberta. The NAFP consists of over one hundred audio and video tapes (with transcripts), featuring fiddling events and interviews with fiddlers, recorded mainly between 1994 and 1998.
