Rod Olstad's Fiddling Journey

For the Northern Alberta Fiddle Project (NAFP), Rod Olstad recorded twenty-three interviews and sixteen fiddling events between March 1994 and March 1997. Rod's collection reveals that fiddling in Northern Alberta did not die when Don Messer's Jubilee was cancelled or when Frankie Rodgers moved to New Zealand. It remained alive in the hearts and fingers of many fiddlers, including those represented in the NAFP.
